She was born on May 1, 1919 at Polworth, SK to Opal (nee Page) and Charles Receveur. Iola is survived by her loving family: her children Marlene Yungwirth, Ken and Gertie (nee Swertz), Jim Dean and Karen Elmhirst; her grandchildren Debbie (Shawn) Croden, Donna (Mike) Rychlo, Ron (Anne) Yungwirth, Tom Yungwirth, Karen (Bryan) Paulhus, Susan (Sheldon) McDougall, Mike (Karla) Yungwirth, Cathy (Gordon) Hirschfeld, Amanda (Brandon) Van Unen, Jessica (Chris) Delaney, Christie Dean and Kelly Melling, Josh (Celina) Dean, Casey Elmhirst and McKenzie Elmhirst; her 24 great-grandchildren; her brother Herb Receveur; her sisters-in-law Donna Russel, Georgie (Bob) Shaw; her brothers-in-law Alex Dean, Harry Dean and Bill Hodges as well as nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 72 years George Dean; her parents Opal and Charles Receveur; her mother-in-law and father-in-law Jessie (nee Rattray) and George Dean, Sr.; her beloved granddaughter Samantha Dean; her son-in-law Arnie Yungwirth; her brother Glenn Receveur; her sisters-in-law Doris Receveur, Lois Receveur, Mary Hodges, Elsie Dean, Phyllis Dean and Pat Dean; her brothers-in-law Donn Dean, Roly Dean and Wally Russel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at a later date. It is the family&rsquo;s request that those wishing to place memorials may do so to the Sacred Heart Cathedral Renovation Fund.
