<div itemprop="description">Lorraine Eileen White (nee Lundy) late of Albertville, SK and formerly of Prince Albert, SK passed away on Monday, June 16, 2014 at the Victoria Hospital at the age of 72 years. She was born on February 3, 1942 in Smeaton to James and Reta Lundy. Lorraine will be lovingly remembered by: her husband of 52 years of marriage Larry; her sons Melvin and Alvin; her daughter Cindy (Rod) Swenson; her son-in-law Mike Layton and Kathy Brandoline; her granddaughters Danica Layton (Nik Guger), Morgan (Nathan) Seghers, Brittany Layton, Teiya Ermine; her grandsons Jaymes and Ryan Swenson, Loren Ermine; great-granddaughter, the apple of her eye, Kail Guger. Mom was predeceased by: her daughter Gail; her parents; her brothers Russell, Gerald and Elmer; her sisters Geraldine, Louise and Darlene. Mom was born and raised at Smeaton, SK and began a job at the Smeaton Caf&eacute; at a young age. This is where she met the love of her life Larry, where she married, moved to Prince Albert and raised their family. When her four children had arrived, she stayed home to look after her family. She was fondly known as the &ldquo;neighborhood mom&rdquo;. When the children got older, mom joined the workforce at KFC where she remained until her retirement. When dad retired they moved to Albertville, until the time of her passing. Mom&rsquo;s favorite things were camping, gardening, reading books and playing cards. But her number one priority was her family, from babysitting grandchildren, to planning family get-togethers. These were the times that she cherished the most. Funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 21 from River Park Memorial Chapel. Interment will take place in the Garden of the Old Rugged Cross, Prince Albert Memorial Gardens. It is the family&rsquo;s request that in lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Victoria Hospital Foundation.
