<div itemprop="description">Mr. Terrance &ldquo;Terry&rdquo; Frederick McKay, age 68, of Prince Albert, SK passed away on Friday, May 17, 2013. He was born on April 22, 1945 in Meadow Lake, SK to George &rdquo;Sandy&rdquo; and Eva (nee Springer) McKay. He began his career with the Government of Saskatchewan Highways Department at a very young age working in the North Battleford, Meadow Lake areas. In 1973 Terry was transferred to the Prince Albert area working in the engineering department. He played a big part in the design and construction of many of our Saskatchewan highways and had numerous friends in the department. Terry retired from the Department of Highways at the age of 53. After a short retirement of golfing and curling he began employment with Clunie Consulting Co. He was happiest at work and spending time with his co-workers. Terry was an avid curler and won much recognition in the sport. He could often be found at JT&rsquo;s Pub conversing with his friends and was loved and respected by the staff. Terry is survived by his loving family: his wife Linda (nee Waughtal); his daughter Christy (Trevor) Stobbs of Saskatoon; his son Kerry (Kiran) McKay [2 year old grandson Zander &ldquo;the apple of his eye&rdquo; and grandchild due in December 2013] of Calgary, AB; his brother Kelly (Dianne) McKay of Saskatoon; his niece Tiffany McKay of Saskatoon; a good family friend Louise Robert and her family; many other relatives and friends. Terry was a wonderful man loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 21 from River Park Memorial Chapel. Reverend Nora Vedress will officiate. Graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22 from the Dorintosh Cemetery.
